Dropchord App Reviews

Very disappointed

What is the point of this? The menu button doesnt work, and there is nothing intuitive about how the thing works. So far its a waste of money. Not fun. AND since when is making music supposed to be competitive? And who is the other competitor? This is incomprehensible!

Fun

The game is fun but in future graphics mode, the chord glitches and prevents me from playing. PLEASE FIX!!

Game Crashes on start up (iPhone 5 and iPad 2)

It worked for a few minutes but now sticks at load screen. Seems like a fun game, but havent been able to play much since it now crashes at start.

This is awesome

Its like the modern Rez. You really get into it. Best played with headphones.

Nearly unplayable on iPod Touch

Im lucky if Im getting more than one frame per second on my iPod Touch. If you have an iPod Touch, definitely hold off on purchasing this app unless this issue is resolved in an update. Unfortunate, because the game is actually pretty cool.

Crashing

Looks to crash at launch on jailbroken idevices.

iPhone 4S - iPad 3 does not work!

This game shows a loading screen for 20 seconds and then crashes on both my 4S and iPad. I have tried various restart and redownload actions. This game looks beautiful and very well designed for touch; I would like to play it. If the issue is fixed I will update my review accordingly.

Great game with cool beats

Really fun game with some awesome beats. A little tough to play on smaller devices but works well on the iPad.

Great Music

Very fun game. Great music

Not sure why I spent 3 dollars.

Its pretty mediocre to me and it is repetitive. Gameplay wise...

Fix it please!!

On both My iPad 4 and my iPhone 5 when I go to options and set the Visual Quality to anything other then standard (which looks pretty jagged and iffy) the games stutters. Which in return really kills the entire game, you know being its a rhythm game and all. Please fix it so I can enjoy this game like I know I will!!!

This is iOS gaming as it is meant to be!

This game is truly unique. Dropchord utilizes the touch controls and retina display of my iPad better than any game Ive played on it before. Very fast paced and arcade-y, and with a amazing soundtrack to match, Dropchord is a amazing and unique experience.

No sound

There is no sound. I am sure this is unintentional, but all the same it makes for a very boring game. That said the visuals are cool, but the game play is kind of lame and not challenging.

Blastin Great Time!

If you like music, and especially techno rock, then this game is for you: great...addictive; Ive only played 30 mins, and there is much to learn and many levels to go. If your dont like music or particularly techno rock, but have kids or grand kids, theyll love it! I must improve my audio equipment play-through experience, but so far headphones add to the experience, and I dont disturb the neighbors! Best $s Ive spent all week. Enjoy!

Yawn...

As you can see from the reviews you are either going to love it or hate it. Personally Im never trusting editors choice again. Misleading too... Soundtrack is not connected to play action, and is monotonous. its the very kind of soundtrack you usually turn off on games where that is an option. Game is flat out boring. Youll love it if you think its fun to watch screen savers, think disco is great music, and dont care what kind of game youre playing while you are listening to disco while watching a screen saver.

Cost to much

For 2.99 Id expect this to be a higher grade app not some crappy looking strobe light which takes away from the game

Confused

I fail to see the enjoyment in this game, and Im an easily entertained individual.

Ok Music app

The graphics are good but the game it self is boring.

Disappointed

Boring. Unhappy with the fact I just threw away 2 bucks.

Difficult controls add challenge to an otherwise boring game

Good soundtrack, but the game itself is pretty weak. Its not a rhythm game or a music game. You just drag a line through some circles.
